Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The manuscript file is in .doc or .docx (Microsoft Word) format only.
- The manuscript is written obligatorily in English and at least one other language (e.g., Portuguese or Spanish).
- The text uses Times New Roman font, 12pt size, with double-spacing.
- All margins are 2.5 cm (1 inch).
- The text is a maximum of 7,000 words (excluding abstract, references, tables, and figures).
- The title page includes the title (in the chosen languages), full names of all authors, complete institutional affiliation, ORCID for all authors, and the corresponding author's email.
- The abstract is a maximum of 250 words and includes 3-5 keywords, both in English and the other submission language(s)
- References follow the APA (American Psychological Association) 7th Edition style.
- Tables and figures are inserted within the text at appropriate points and also submitted as separate files (high resolution).
- All author-identifying information has been removed from the manuscript body and file properties for blind peer review.
- The meta-analysis has been included as a mandatory supplementary file.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in "Comments to the Editor").
- URLs for references have been provided where available.
- The text employs italics instead of underlining (except with URL addresses).
